Proposal
To establish communication with both internet and non-internet users under human-computer interface development studies.
Development time was from October 2006 to December 2006 unless otherwise noted.
Assignment 1 / Non-traditional Interaction
Taking a traditional 2 button mouse, and recreating a new, purposeful software-based interactivity through the Adobe Flash software platform.
Interactivity will progress through a 3d plane, with navigation developing under a X & Y 2d axis to create a virtual depth of field effect.

Assignment 2 / Imagery: Apart & Together
The human eye calibrates color with extreme accuracy and clarity; giving each color a wholistic value depending on varying conditions such as light, and motion. While technology only tries to mimic that same affect.
In order to mimic the effect, conventional displays (CRT, LCD, Plasma) give color a weight value based on the Z (3-Demensional) axis which allows the display to match the 16 million + colors the human eye can comprehend.
For this study, images are arranged in a 3d space and taken apart pixel-by-pixel and are given a weighted value.
Built with Processing.

Assignment 3 / Gestural Application
Shaking hands, waving, and even that unconditional "bird." Fact is, we use our hands everyday in a hybrid association of tasks and emotions without ever second guessing ourselves.
This study applies a basic human physical gesture similar to that of friendly hand-wave to an software application developed to accomplish a specific task: calling and displaying my friend's photos via the Flickr API.
Accompaning this study is a self-developed gyro-balanced mouse based on a 180* Y axis.

Assignment 4 / Bluenose - Mobile Phone Application
A mobile phone application that relates directional-proximity between two Bluetooth enabled devices through a non-traditional graphical display.
